Land below the Wind - Mount KinabaluThe function was held in Sutera Pacific Resort, KK from 15 - 17 Aug 2008. Agents who qualified were Winnie Teo, Chew and Popo and myself. It was a marvellous trip until when going to the Hot Spring which took the whole day. To make things worst food serve at the KK Pine Resort is horrible.
The gala dinner was good with KK branch agency put up a show with plentiful of Karaoke. Our thanks to En. Fazlur and Francis Xavier.
New Agents for 2008 in the Agency
September 2008
This month we will have 2 new agents to be contracted they are Joanne Kho and Yip. Joanne is a full time piano teacher and Yip is a senior management executive in a listed company. Of course Lee CY who had passed his exam last month will also be contracted in Sept 08. All of the above have got all their entry examination cleared.
August 2008
Pearl Fong, Carol Ng and Lee MC was contracted on August 2008.
June 2008
Zai and Joanne Tan came on board in June 2008 and by far the most productive agents with lots of activities.
April 2008
Jason Tan joined us this month full time. His was previously a manager in a camera outlet in Maju Junction.
October 2007 - Soo Tie joined us and has since become a full time agent, Li San is currently a part time agent.
June 2007 - Yan resigned as a construction supervisor to join us full time.

Agents 5 Years Plan
I actually got this idea from my son Ian when he wrote in his blog about future. He went on to state that 20 years from today his friend Nat will be happily married with 2 children one name Peanut and the other called Butter. What a superb name !!
Today we had a session to recap what will it be like to see yourself five years down memory lane which agents had shared during last week meeting on 3rd Sept 2008.
FWC wants to earn at least Rm 6,000 per month.
Philip suggest that he will have prudent self management with an earning of not less than Rm 10,000 per month and for 2009 to take up the role of Agency Organizer.
ST just delivered to a healthy baby boy when we were in Genting for Namlifa Mega Convention she wants to earn at least Rm 5,000 pm and have a savings of Rm 100,000 in the bank.
Winnie now has 2 properties and want to acquire at least 3 more properties before the 5 years end.
Jessie would love to pay up all her loans for the properties that she has acquired.
Chew wants to constantly produce at least Rm 100,000 FYP per year for next 5 years
Po will save Rm 100,000 in bank in the next 3 years.
Zai will be debt free by then.
Joanne wants to earn Rm 10,000 every month before 5 years is over.
Jackie will wants to complete her obligation for her children education by then.
Yan will not retire for the next 20 years because he can smell the money is in the air. Ha! Ha!

MDA 200 and MDRT 100 NLP in Selling Seminar
5 & 6th September 2008 Grand Ballroom, Impiana KLCC Hotel
Lee Sheng Wah a respected leading trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming and an author of 3 books with another 7 more to write is the sole master trainer in this seminar. 2 solid days from 9 to 5 pm. More surprisingly, AIA gave moon cakes to each participants without any contest.
Conclusion, this it's a very pratical session where Sheng had introduce lot's of role play to make learning simple.

Namlifa Mega Convention

Fantastic AIA outing!! 850 AIA's participated in the Convention for a capacity of 1600 participants. Company throw a sumptous welcome dinner on the 1st nite at Coffee Terrace, Genting Hotel. Plenty of good food, show and good incentives. I understand there were some agents who think it's just another ordinary dinner, therefore they went on to eat Bah Kut Teh in the Hainanese restaurant. Ha! Ha! this time they were wrong.
AIA being a DIAMOND sponsor, have Mr. Ramzy and Mr. Khor as platform speaker and AIA had also sponsored Mr. Sirivat (sandwich Man from Thailand) as the anchor speaker. I guess i don't get bored listen to him again because I believe there is always something new to learn each and every seminar. The most touching session is before the last speaker Mr. Sirivat session, Collin emereged to belt out 4 songs with his keyboard, Collin had being visually challenged since birth managed to graduate his degree in Music from Sedaya College. I bought a book title "Harvest of Love" written by Collin's mother Janet Ng. A very touching book to read.
Akard Dinner for AIA had been meaningful cos AIA had grabbed 10 out of the 15 prestigous award. Thunderous applause was received from AIA receipient cos more than half of the hall was packed by AIA'ers. Cheers!! We are the Best!

Jackie with the 9999 +1 ice carvingOn 26 Aug 2008, AIA Management at Genting Highland Namlifa Mega Convention throw a Gala Dinner only for AIAers. It was a very sumptous dinner and it is tonite that our CEO Mr. Khor reveal the next company target to year end 2008.
The target was to have 9,999 + 1 agents for AIA Malaysia. If you remember well on the New Year Kick off for 2008 our target was to achieve 8,888 agents by middle of June 2008. Well, as you have guess it so correctly, Yes We can and AIA Malaysia achieved the target withing 6 months.

Attended by 2000 agents. There were the product preview session for Dana Bon and Elite Legacy Income (ELI). There were lucky draws for 5 MU Jerseys, 2 ticket to Xiamen and 1 ticket to Hokkaido. Launching of next Summit Convention destination Zurich, Switzerland
6th - 8th June 2008 (Fri - Sun) -Leaders Mid Year Planning Session in Hanoi
Qualified for ground arrangement for Hanoi Planning session but decided that there were too many activities for agencies. Therefore did not go to Hanoi

Sharing by Ann Ju Kee of KN Zest on her best practice to become a Million Dollar Agency in 2007. Followed by Big Wednesday for Agents session in the nite from 18.30 to 19.30 pm.

9.00 - 10.00 am the unveiling of AIA Bhd and new AIA logo in Level 2 of Menara Aia follow by the evening from 15.30 - 17.30 pm for all Employees and Agents to join in the celebration and Food feista.
24th May 2008 (Sat) - AIA Luseb "We Are AIA" Seminar
held in One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya from 8.00 - 6.00 pm
This event was jointly organized by Luseb with sponsorship from AIA Co. Ltd. I being nominated to be the Organizing Chairman and the committees include James Peris, Jeremy Hew, Yan Heng Hua, Felicia Yap, Jason Soh, Loretta Chin, Tang Huai Han, Cheryl Lim, Jaclyn Soo and Peggy Hew. Raised Rm 50,000 donation for Si Chuan Earthquake Victim Fund and will be donated to Red Cross China. Features Speakers were Marcus Wong from Hong Kong, Christina Khoo from Singapore, Wong Jin Hun for KL and Janice Yap from Penang.
23rd May 2008 (Fri) - Luseb Malaysia AGM
Wrote an apology letter to Mr. Manmohan for not being able to attend the AGM. Received calls and SMS congratulating me for being nominated the Secretary General. Decide to give it a deep thought after the seminar tomorrow. Subsequently on Monday inform Incoming President Major Leow and the outgoing Secretary General Mr. Manmohan through SMS about my decision to step down from office.
14th May 2008 (Wed) - Big Wednesday invitation for Janice Yap PN YBL
Invited Janice Yap to come to Kuala Lumpur for her platform session for "We Are Aia" Seminar on 24th May 2008. Her first time sharing and she is a very steady girl who can present. Very sure if given right amount of training she will shine like a star. It was a day trip for her with Yan and Soo Tie picking her up from airport and Jacky and myself sent her to airport after the session.

Drove down to Penang at 9.00 am and reach Penang in time for lunch with Mandy for Hong Kong and Yong Lai Yin. After lunch proceed to Wisma Leader for afternoon talk with leaders and at nite Wong Jin Hun shared with agents on his selling experiences. Stayed in Dorsett Penang and drove back the next day after breakfast with Yap Boon Lee and shared in his agency.
